“Clear, clean and crisp water – very good. One of the best in show at the World Water Expo! Light minerals – a strong bodied water – stays on the palate with a strong finish. Beautiful structures and very good tasting with sweet exotic fruit notes!”

Martin Riese, certified Aqua Sommelier

“I love this water. Its taste is pristine and super clean. I also like how filling it is. When I’ve had a glass, I feel hydrated and satisfied. For a water with such a low TDS (total dissolved solids), I am surprised by the flavor you get. Up front it’s got that super pure taste, but it ends with really pleasant fruitiness. All in all, Clear Alaskan Glacial is a great taste adventure that I think everyone will love.”

Bottled at the source

Clear Alaskan Glacial® is committed to being a careful steward of this precious resource, using less than .001% annually in our bottles.

Source

The source for Clear Alaskan Glacial® water is the pristine Eklutna Lake fed by the Eklutna Glacier created by the Harding Ice Sheet. Measuring 7 miles long and 200 feet deep, Eklutna Lake was carved over 10,000 years ago in the Holocene time period. The lake was named Eklutna or “plural river objects” by the Alaska Native (Athabascan) people indigenous to the area.

Location

Eklutna Lake is located just 37 miles outside of Anchorage in the Chugach State Park (a 400,000 acre state-protected area). Nestled high in the jagged peaks of Alaska’s Chugach mountains, the Eklutna Glacier flows into Eklutna Lake over 800 feet above sea level before flowing down to the sea just 17 miles away. The mineral composition of the surrounding earth and protected alpine terrain have influenced the glacier water with exceptional measures of alkalinity, dissolved solids and mineral balance.

Sustainable

In contrast to depleted aquifers, Eklutna Lake is continuously fed by the Eklutna Glacier at an estimated recharge rate of 175,000,000 gallons daily. AGP is committed to being a careful steward of this precious resource, using less than .001% annually in our bottles.

Pristine

Distinct from surface and groundwater sources that have been contaminated by human and natural causes, Eklutna Glacier melts slowly from the oldest ice underneath the glacier to form Eklutna Lake. The result is a completely pristine and great tasting drinking water.

Water Quality

The truth is in the taste – Alaska Glacier Products water received a Silver Award for Taste from the Fine Waters Society and a Bronze Medallion for Superior Taste from the Gourmet International Waters Competition. It’s no wonder our water tastes great, check out our goodness!
